Below is a combined 2026 price list for every type of trip: sea tours, land tours, shows and activities. What's included in the price and what you pay for on the spot is set out separately, because that's where the gap between the advertised price and the final bill most often comes from.
All prices are per person unless stated otherwise and match the catalogue at the time of publication. The child rate usually depends on height or age; the limits are on each tour's page. The full list is in the excursion catalogue.
What the price depends on
- Format: a group tour is several times cheaper than a private one — this is the main difference
- Transport: a speedboat costs more than a ferry or a longtail, but saves two or three hours on the way
- Season: in high season, November to April, prices are higher than in May–October
- National park fees: Phi Phi, the Similans and Ao Phang Nga have a separate fee, and it isn't always included
- Number of people: private tours are priced per car or per boat, not per person
How much sea excursions in Phuket cost

What you pay for separately
This is the main source of the gap between the advertised price and the final bill.
- The national park fee. On Phi Phi foreigners pay 400 ฿; other destinations have their own amounts
- Drinks, and lunch where it isn't included
- Equipment rental beyond the basics: an underwater housing, diving gear, a canoe on some tours
- Tips for the guide and the boat crew — these are voluntary
- Transfers from remote areas: beaches outside the standard zones often carry a surcharge
How not to overpay
A group tour to the same destination is many times cheaper than a private one, and for a first trip that's usually enough. A private tour makes sense when there are four or more of you, or when you have small children in the group and need your own pace.
Street agencies on the beach sometimes charge a few hundred baht less than we do. The difference usually goes on things you can't see in the shop window: an old boat, a group of 60 instead of 25, no insurance. Booking ahead in high season gets you more than haggling on the spot: in December–February the popular destinations sell out several days in advance.
When prices are lower
The low season from May to October is cheaper than the high season. The sea is rougher at that time, some sea trips are cancelled in storms, and Maya Beach on Phi Phi is closed from 1 August to 30 September — details in our guide to the Phi Phi excursion.
November and April are transition months: the weather is mostly already or still good, while prices and crowds are below the peak.

What does the price of an excursion include?
Usually the transfer, insurance, an escort and lunch if it's listed. National park fees, drinks and extra equipment are more often paid for separately.

How does a group tour differ from a private one?
In price and pace. On a group tour the route and times are fixed; on a private one the program adapts to you, and the price is per car or per boat.

What happens if an excursion is cancelled because of the weather?
Sea tours are cancelled in storms by decision of the port authority. In that case you're offered a different day or a refund — the terms are in the refund policy.
